Ashley graduated from Shepherd University with a Bachelor’s degree in social work in 2015. Deciding to further her education, Ashley received her Master’s degree in social work in 2016 through an advanced standing program.
Through Ashley’s experiences in the social service field she developed a strong interest in mindfulness and its effects on mental health. Ashley offers a variety of person-centered, strength based, and holistic methods that help establish skills to improve mental health.
Offering a collaborative and validating approach, Ashley will assist you in meeting your mental health goals.
Working with individuals, couples, and families in a variety of settings, I support clients through such topics as relationship challenges, stress, identity exploration, and emotional regulation. I also hold a special place in my heart for working with youth and adults with developmental disabilities and complex trauma in a manner which accounts for and considers their unique challenges.
As a therapist, I bring warmth, curiosity, and a steady presence into the room. I believe that therapy is a space for genuine connection, where humour, honesty, and compassion can exist alongside challenge and growth. My approach is collaborative and nonjudgmental, grounded in authenticity and genuine curiosity surrounding your lived experiences.
